EUCON has at its disposal a pool of external experts and a wide network of those involved in vocational training, social work and youth work.

Coordi-Nation

The purpose of the Coordination Europe organisation is to be a platform for cooperation and more interaction between governmental and non-governmental labour market measures for the long-term unemployed, focusing on transnational and regional matching.

Coordination Europe aims to give these networks added value by collaborating with organisations and networks in Europe, and apply for international labour market projects. The network gathers activities and combined experience and expertise in one place and enhances the collaboration between organisations and associations (governmental and non-governmental i e social enterprises).

Background: Persons who for various reasons are far from the labour market has often difficulties to get out of their unemployment and their exclusion out of their own power. Already established methods are not always sufficient to offer a customized model to help the individual forward in life, both in terms of personal growth and skills development. This leads to some individuals being excluded from job market and society and they are finding it increasingly difficult to get back into the labour market.

It is here Coordination Europe projects take over to provide a link between existing initiatives and move towards an individually tailored 24/7 help to get closer to the labour market and a real job. A very individual solution in the form of IdA-projects already exist in Germany, this model we studied with financial support from the European Social Fond.

Coordination Europe was founded in 2013 in cooperation between the Job Center Kalmar Region south, Youth organisation Kumulus Kalmar and Coordi-Nation.

Focus of Coordination Europe:

  • EU projects

  • Increased employment opportunities for young people in rural areas through education, training and personal coaching.

  • Network structures in cooperation with government agencies, businesses, organizations, social enterprises to strengthen the regional economy and to increase the number of attractive jobs for young people, among others in the creative sector.

  • Mobility experiences in Europe and host exchanges from European countries to develop further on a personal and professional level, thereby improving employability and inclusion in society.

Coordination Europe uses best practice experience in methods, didactics, project management, leadership and networking. Within the framework of national and transnational projects Coordination Europe is active in the planning, organization and evaluation of project activities, project management and ensures the dissemination of the results in a meaningful way.

Clase Barcelona Language School

The language school Clase Barcelona Language School (CBLS) was founded in 2012 in Barcelona.

Initially they focused on the development and management of a classic language school, offering classes in various languages for groups, individuals and firms; the two founders then increasingly used their new and existing contacts and networks in the education sector in Barcelona and Catalonia in order to participate successfully in European projects. Through this, after a few years their emphasis has fallen more and more on the organisation and implementation of funding projects carried out by the European Social Fund (ESF) as well as the Erasmus+ and Leonardo Da Vinci projects. Given their already established access to students through the language school, CBLS has been able to reach many young people who could receive targeted support and language classes, helping them participate in various transnational projects and mobility projects.

CBLS has increasingly become a cultural intersection between Spain and other EU and non-EU countries. Through participation in social and cultural projects, as well as acting as a mediator between jobs and training, CBLS was able to establish and shape a vast network in Barcelona, Catalonia, and other countries, such as France, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia and Turkey.
